Liliana Bernal is a reporter and content creator for La Alianza. She has more than 20 years of experience in journalism and has worked for audiovisual media outlets in Latin America and the United States, including Univision, The Brooklyn Eagle, and RCN TV. Liliana is a Carter Center fellow, where she produced a documentary on mental health in children and adolescents in Colombia. Her work focuses primarily on social justice, women, immigration, and environmental issues. She has won several awards for her work, including an Emmy and the King of Spain Journalism Award.
