This privacy policy describes how La Alianza, a project of NDWA Labs LLC, collects, uses, and shares your information with respect to your use of the website located at www.laalianzanoticias.com, including, without limitation, any subdomain (the “website”) as well as your use of our Facebook page or Chatbot through Facebook Messenger (both the website and the Facebook page and Chatbot, collectively, the “Services”). Your use of the Facebook page and Facebook messenger will also be governed by Facebook’s privacy policy, which can be found here.

This policy does not apply to any other website or platform that is owned or operated by NDWA Labs LLC, the National Domestic Workers Alliance, or its allied organization.

Before using or submitting any information related to the Services, please carefully review this Privacy Policy. The terms “you” or “user” refer to all individuals and entities that access the Services for any reason. The terms “we” or “our” refer to La Alianza and NDWA Labs LLC.

When using the Services, La Alianza may request from you, or receive from the platforms on which you have logged in, some or all of the following types of information that may be identifiable to you when you use the Services to access various functions or content: (i) contact information for you and your family and friends, such as names, email addresses, and telephone numbers; (ii) demographic information, such as your age, gender identity, zip code, type of work, salary; and (iii) information for the purpose of authenticating yourself or your account.

Through the Services, La Alianza also collects and stores information that you voluntarily submit to us by responding to an action or survey, when you interact with the Chatbot or other applications, and/or content that you upload or post on the Services. If you are logged into your Facebook account and “like” or comment on La Alianza content or other user content, your Facebook username will be displayed and available to the public. In addition to your Facebook username, your “likes” and comments on the page are also visible to the public. We encourage you to be careful when deciding to disclose any information on the Facebook platform.

INFORMATION THAT IS COLLECTED PASSIVELY OR AUTOMATICALLY

When you visit the website, we may also automatically receive and record information from your computer or mobile device. This information allows us to understand how people navigate and use our website, and how we can improve your experience based on the information we collect.   • With Like-Minded Organizations/Collaborators. We may share your information with NDWA Labs LLC sister organizations and other like-minded organizations and campaigns, including, but not limited to, the National Domestic Workers Alliance, Families Belong Together, Care That Works for All Generations, and Caring Across Generations.
  • Protection of NDWA Labs and Others. NDWA Labs may access, retain, and disclose your information if required to do so by law or if it believes in good faith that such access, retention, or disclosure is permitted in accordance with this privacy policy, or is reasonably necessary and appropriate for any of the following reasons:

-enforce this privacy policy, including investigations of potential violations of it;
-respond to your requests for customer service reasons; and/or
-protect the rights, property, or personal safety of NDWA Labs, its agents and affiliates, its users, and the public. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations to offer protection against fraud, prevention of spam/malware, and similar purposes.

  • Anonymized Data. We may also aggregate or de-identify the information we collect from you so that it is no longer linked to you or your computer or device.   • Organization Transfers. As NDWA Labs continues to develop our organization, we may acquire, merge, or collaborate with other organizations. During such transactions (including the period of consideration of such transactions, e.g., due diligence) user information may be included among the transferred assets. If any of NDWA Labs’ assets were sold or transferred to a third party, information collected through the website would likely be one of the transferred business assets.
  • Exception for Text Messages. Information about consent and linking to the NDWA Labs text messaging service will not be shared with third parties.

How We Protect Your Data

We have implemented administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, and/or alteration of your information. These protections vary depending on the sensitivity of the information we collect and store. However, we cannot guarantee and do not guarantee that these measures will prevent all unauthorized attempts to access, use, and disclose your information, as despite our efforts, no internet or electronic transmission can be completely secured.

Legal Framework for the Processing of Personal Data
